REGISTER for the workshop
One of the near term objectives of the Working Group is to develop a complete picture of the Michigan footprint in quantum science and technology and work to shape the image so that it can be understood in the context of the quantum initiative that is shaping up in the different funding agencies. To help in this process, a workshop is being held in April where speakers from other institutions and organizations will give their perspective on the future in this area. In addition, there will be approximately 5 internal speakers. Each of the internal speakers is working to prepare a description of the focus and impact of an area of research that includes the work of several faculty including themselves. Between the internal speakers, we expect to be able to include almost all the research areas of people who have responded to the invitation to submit their work for inclusion. Schedule
