The Michigan Quantum Science and Technology Working Group is an ad hoc committee formed between the Colleges of LSA and COE in anticipation of the  National Quantum Initiative and the emergent field of quantum based technology, extending well beyond the “usual” quantum computing and information applications. The near term objective of the group is to develop a complete picture of the Michigan footprint in quantum science and technology and to form a competitive quantum-science vision in the context of the quantum initiative that is shaping up in the different funding agencies.
